About

Last updated 2 October 2026

Herebeat is an iPhone app that gathers official alerts, conditions, routes and places for the area you care about. It shows them in one calm view, with each item labeled by the agency that issued it.

Herebeat is not an emergency alert system. In danger, follow local authorities and emergency services, and call your local emergency number. Herebeat can be late, incomplete or wrong, and it never replaces official warnings, sirens or Wireless Emergency Alerts.

Where the information comes from

Herebeat shows public information from official and scientific sources, and names the source on every item:

Road reports come from transport agencies where they publish open feeds, including US state DOTs, the US National Park Service and agencies in Canada, Europe, the UK and Australia. Each report in the app names its agency. Where no feed exists, Herebeat shows roads as not covered.

Colorado Department of Transportation (COtrip): THE STATE OF COLORADO AND CDOT MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTY AS TO THE COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, OR CONTENT OF ANY DATA MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THIS SITE. THE STATE OF COLORADO AND CDOT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The data is subject to change as modifications and updates are complete. It is understood that the information contained in the Web feed is being used at one's own risk.

Herebeat isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of these agencies. Coverage differs by country, and some alerts only describe a whole region rather than an exact area.
